I've been manifesting the idea of my own blog for almost a year.
I strive to live by three concepts: authenticity, simplicity, and bliss.
I hope that this blog can capture those qualities through the series and posts I plan to create and cultivate. I am excited to extend myself to a greater community and I am eager to foster a colloborative community where ideas are sparked, dreams are shared, and friendships bloom.

In the Kitchen -
I am by no means a good cook. And no, this is not humblebragging. I am a die-hard, wannabe good cook, and I know I'm not alone. I'm always finding delicious recipes and inevitably find myself in disappointment when the end result is nowhere near what I was hoping to make. In the last few months I stopped blaming my oven and realized the obvious. I was attempting grand recipes when I didn't even know the basics. With the overwhelming popularity of "pinterest-fails" I can assume I'm not the only one. So, I'm going to share my adventures in the kitchen and provide helpful how-to's in elementary cook basics. (Let's learn together!)
Conscious Beauty -
It's common nowadays to read the ingredients on our food labels and question the additives, but why does it stop in the kitchen? The idea of reading product labels and even switching bodycare products usually results in frustration, puzzled looks and a huge sense of overwhelming confusion. I'm excited to share my journey of switching over to conscious products and I hope that I can provide the steps to take if you feel inspired to start the journey yourself.
On the road -
A small (more personal) series exploring my new city - San Diego, CA. I'll keep you posted on quiant coffee shops, bustling breweries, and hidden gems I stumble across and fall in love with. I would also love to create a co-series (on the road with) to highlight other friends and bloggers who can share their own neighborhood gems.
